Yoga & Reiki
Studio Etiquette
We’re so grateful for the continued growth of our community and deeply honored that you’ve chosen to practice with us at Alchemy Yoga & Reiki in Asheville, NC.

To maintain a peaceful and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy their practice, we kindly ask you to keep the following studio etiquette in mind. By embracing these guidelines, you help cultivate the harmonious energy of the studio and preserve it as a sacred space for all.
We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class so that you have time to check in, setup your mat, and get situated.
Parking is available in both the front and back of the building. If you park in the back, there is a walkway along the south side of the building that will bring you to the front of the studio.
Please remove your shoes when you enter the studio. Silence your phones and place all belongings in a cubby. Most cubbies have doors for privacy.
If the curtain is closed to the practice space, this means there is a class taking place. Please wait for it to end and the teacher to open the curtain. Students may enter the practice room 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their class.
Many students like to unwind and meditate prior to class, so we ask that the practice room remain a quiet space.

Student's who arrive more than 5 minutes after the start of the class will not be allowed in and will receive a credit for a future class.
If you are unable to attend a class that you signed up for, please drop the class as soon as your can. No shows will lose their class credit.

Mats and props are available at no additional cost. After your class has ended, please thoroughly wipe down/sanitize everything you used and place it back on the prop shelf. Rags and sanitizing sprays are by the prop shelf.
Please do not start cleaning mats and props during savasana. If you have to leave before savasana has ended, quietly exit the room and let the front desk know so they can take care of the studio mat and props.
